Grain free granola
All of the nuts used were raw before baking.
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup pepitas
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup pine nuts
Sauce:
2 tbsp virgin coconut oil
1/2 tbsp raw honey
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
very small pinch of salt
Optional:
1/2 packet truvia

I get all of my nuts from TJ’s…they’re far cheaper than anywhere else. Then I throw them in the freeze until I’m ready to use them.

For the sauce, I just microwaved all the ingredients for about 20 sec and the mixed it into the nuts.

It smells like pecan pie!

I put it on a foil sheet on my toaster oven pan.

Baked at 350F for 15 mins. I stirred it after 10 mins and rotated the pan. Be sure to watch this in your oven…they can burn easily!

I added 1/2 truvia packet to the granola after it cooled, and shook it around in the tupperware.

It tastes great!
